The rates appearing in the cockpit are picked up from the Budget & Forecast module. In the Budget & Forecast module, you can enter either the rate or total labor cost, depending on settings.
If you work with total labor costs, the rates in the cockpit take the forecasted/budgeted cost divided by forecasted/budgeted hours to display the rate in the cockpit.
If you work with rates in Budget & Forecast, the same will appear in the cockpit. The current rate is by default, the same as forecasted but can be amended directly in the cockpit if necessary. Budgeted and Forecasted rates in the cockpit can only be changed if you are working with rates in Budget & Forecast, otherwise, these are closed for entry.
